CIRCLE UNION LETTER TO CPMG, TN ON RULE 38 TRANSFERS
No.P3/Genl. Dt. 20.02.2012
To
The Chief Postmaster General,
Tamilnadu Circle,
Chennai 600 002.
Respected Madam,
Sub: Reqeust for applying uniformity in deciding
Rule 38 transfers
throughout the
Circle – Reg.
Circle – Reg.
……….
You may
well aware that request under
Rule 38 transfers are made mainly
by the Lady Staff on family
grounds or on Medical Grounds. Their
requests are considered
after due process of
verification only , and that
too on genuine
grounds.
But in
some of the Regions
in our Circle , their
representations are out rightly
rejected , for the
simple reason that
they have not completed
minimum five years
of service from their
date of joining. Even mutual transfers and spouse category transfers are also not
considered.
This
affects them mentally
as well as physically.
Though there is ample opportunity to
consider their cases,
we do not know
what prevents the
authorities to take such
a hard decision.
Hence
our Circle Union requests
the Chief PMG, to reconsider
the same and kindly
take suitable action so as to follow a uniform procedure throughout
the Circle , relaxing such hard
decisions. The rejected applications
may kindly be reconsidered within the
purview of this
year ADR plan.
Thanking you Madam,
With
regards,
(J. RAMAMURTHY)
CIRCLE
SECRETARY.
