After conciliatory meeting with the Circle Administrtion, before Labour Commissioner, there is specific and positive directions from the Labour Commissioner on Casual Labourer issue viz. the Circle administration should implement the Dte orders for payment of revised wages to all Casual Labourers and payment of weekly off.
Further , it is directed to hold Bi- lateral discussions with the Staff side shortly before next meeting and to settle the issues amicably.
Based on the recorded minutes, and specific request of the Labour Commissioner, the proposed strike on 13.7.17, is now deferred.
This is the unanimous decision taken by TN NFPE COC. Pl inform all immediately.
