Govt. cuts expenditure, bans post creation, restricts foreign travel
Austerity measures have been announced by the Finance Ministry to tackle the present economic scenario and better use of Govt. resources. In this measure a blanket ban has been announced in any post creation and meetings and conferences in five star hotels. No new car can be purchased. Foreign travel should be restricted to minimum with small team. All ministries and departments are asked to cut their non plan expenditure a mandatory 10%.
